In thermal imaging, a shutter is used to control the time of entry of infrared radiation rays to obtain information about the heat emitted by the target, thus ensuring that the thermal imaging camera can accurately capture that information. Since thermal
imaging is imaging by sensing infrared radiation from the target, on the one hand, the opening time of the shutter must be long
enough for the detector to fully receive that infrared radiation; on the other hand, the closing time of the shutter needs to be short enough (i.e., the closing speed is fast enough) to prevent the interference of external light.
